ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Tammy Laurent has been a financial advisor since 1989, and in that time, has heard stories from many clients about putting important things in writing to help others who might have to step in and help. Her production has placed her as one of the top women in the firm, where she has served in numerous volunteer roles within the company, including field trainer, mentor/coach, growth leader, and national speaker.
Tammy is also very active in Rotary where she was president of her club in 2001 and District Governor for the southwestern portion of Minnesota in 2007–2008. She is on the Global Leadership Council for Concordia College, has served as an organist for several churches since the age of 16, and loves to speak to groups on entrepreneurism and business skills.
As a cum laude graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, she holds degrees in Political Science, Business Administration, and a minor in Psychology. She also holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor and Accredited Asset Management Specialist professional designations.
She and husband Gary live in New Prague, Minnesota. They both enjoy camping, backpacking, hiking, canoeing, fishing, biking, and anything outdoors—and of course, golfing, as they co-own Stonebrooke Golf Club.
